Narrow provider networks gain acceptance from patients, insurers in Michigan

A growing number of health insurers in Michigan are offering various versions of “narrow provider networks” to customers on the state’s public health insurance exchange — and in the open market to employers — in an effort to lower premiums and attract greater market share.
